What a beautiful hotel. We absolutely loved the old building, full of old furniture, all beautifully maintained. Huge room. Slightly missed having a more traditional bar area but it's been made into quite a modern bar/ bistro, which is a fun space.

Historical building. Perfect location. Parking on site. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. As it was in the centre of Taunton we ate out in local restaurants, so we can't comment on food provided by hotel apart from breakfast which was good. Was a little more than we usually pay but worth it for the location and ambiance of hotel.

Loved the central location and easy parking. Impressed by staff. We needed help with a tap and the help was immediate and satisfactory as well as being so very pleasant. Breakfasts suited us perfectly and we hope to return. Ten out of ten Castle Hotel and thank you.

The ambiance, the service, the food. Old fashioned but good quality. The bed was really comfortable, I could have stayed in it all day!

The Hotel receptionist took care of payingt for the car park. I did not have the necessary NCP App on my mobile phone, so she registered and paid, then added the charge to my account. I really appreciated this assistancce. I have had a few single rooms in various hotels. The room at The castle (Room 16) was the best I have ever had, Spacious, clean, and very, very comfortable.

The staff were lovely, the bottle of preseco and card in the room was an excellent touch, the room was large and more than comfortable, a beautiful building, 2 mins walk from town centre. The restaurant (Brazz) was amazing, food, staff and atmosphere all well above standard.

Friendly staff and a beautiful building, located centrally in Taunton. We had a suite which was lovely, good size and amenities. Have stayed here before, and will stay here again when visiting family in Taunton.

The location is excellent for a Christmas Break and the Christmas tree in the foyer absolutely beautiful. The room was very comfortable with a comfy bed The bathroom was very clean and spacious.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Taunton. It’s got its own car park with plenty of parking. The interior takes you back to the height of glamour. My room was huge, and so comfortable. Had a lovely self service breakfast. Would love to go back and stay for longer.
